Professor Stephen Hawking, the freethinker, well-known and notable theoretical physicist and author of “A Brief History of Time,” has died at age 76.
A family spokesman confirmed the news to the BBC.
Because of his disease doctors gave him a life expectancy of just two years – however, helped by scientific marvels, engineering and his will to unlock the secrets of the universe, he lived for more than 50.
He’ll be missed!
